Increase transparency and accountability through Policy reform.

Improve community partnerships with stakeholders and civic partners. Through a collaborative relationships with the community and staff, establish a strong communications structure to inform and engage both internal and external stakeholders in setting and achieving district goals.

Return oversight to the Board and rebuild the community voice.

Reinforce fiscal oversight and improve financial visibility of our district spending to the community. Factor in data and the human element to help drive Administrative and Board Decisions.

Strengthen and expand community involvement, lean into our unique, smaller community, encourage partnerships, form joint committees where applicable, seek creative, out of the box ways to elevate our education opportunities all while maximizing excellence in standards for our small school community.

Forge consensus on issues that invite diversity rather than divide our beautiful community. Through public town halls, multi-perspective committees, workshops and study sessions, with a goal of collaboration, perspective and community, work to reconcile differences and reach compromises on behalf of the students and community we serve as part of the planning process.

Embrace our financial strengths to truly serve "every child every day" while working to return our schools to the "private school education in a public school setting". We must support, educate and embrace ALL Laguna Students for their entire LBUSD education in
all ways possible. We can lean into our small class size possibilities with our robust per student budget.

Collaborate with the local Teachers Union and CSEA to create an open and transparent partnership, focused on finding creative solutions and incentives to maximize student opportunities and community vision, while flexing staff opportunities, to collaborate and enhance the learning and teaching experience.

Implement Term limit policy allowing increased community participation to welcome and embrace unique ideas, fresh perspectives and new energy.
